If you want to collect modern Chinese art, the best way is to go to an auction.
The preview of China Guardian 2020 Spring Auction will be held from August 11 to 14, and the auction will be held from August 15 to 19. For the first time, all the exhibition venues will be held in Guardian Art Center.
The spring auction covers 31 special sessions, more than 4500 cultural relics and works of art, including Chinese painting and calligraphy, 20th century contemporary art, porcelain, antiques, classical furniture, ancient books, stamp products, COINS, wine and other categories.
Chinese modern and contemporary painting and calligraphy have been carefully selected to collect more than 700 fine works, and have launched a number of special topics of great significance in the history of art. Among them, Zhang Daqian and Fu Baoshi, who had been hiding two groups for many years, were very rare and could not be found.
Fu Baoshi's paintings are always hard to find, and his sketches in the early days of the People's Republic of China are rare in the market. After the founding of the People's Republic of China, Fu Baoshi traveled thousands of miles and kept on writing. The auction of four frames are the first market exposure, very rare.
