早在2019年，Costa咖啡就委托制作了这些杯子，以庆祝他们对2020年东京奥运会的官方赞助。经过两年的大流行，他们终于走上街头。Way back in 2019 Costa Coffee commissioned these cups to celebrate their official sponsorship of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games. Two years and one pandemic later, they’ve finally hit the streets.
每个杯子都有不同的奥运标志性项目，全球共有6个，另外两个专门为中国市场设计。设计是与国际奥委会合作完成的，以确保每项运动100%的真实性，但有足够的创意自由，在次要角色上添加一些幽默的元素。Each cup features a different iconic Olympic sport, with six available globally and an additional two created exclusively for the Chinese market. The designs were created working alongside the IOC to ensure 100% authenticity across each sport, but with just enough creative freedom to add some humorous touches here and there on the secondary characters.
这些插图也被改编为动画数字资产和一系列限量版商品。The illustrations were also adapted for animated digital assets and a whole range of limited edition merchandise.
很少有大型品牌的咖啡杯在其设计中加入一些有趣和幽默的元素，而这些咖啡杯无疑将 Costa 推到了他们通常的舒适区之外。It's rare to see coffee cups for large brands that employ some fun and humour in their designs, and these ones certainly pushed Costa beyond their usual comfort zone.
