坐落于纽约上东区的 Park Avenue Apartment，由 GACHOT 为一对育有年幼孩子的夫妇打造。这处被定义为“Forever Home”的住宅，在保留经典建筑气质的基础上，以更轻松、温暖的设计语言回应年轻家庭的生活方式，在传统与当代之间营造出自然且舒适的居住氛围。

Located on Park Avenue in New York's Upper East Side, this apartment was designed by GACHOT for a couple with young children. Defined as a "Forever Home," the residence preserves the classic architectural character while embracing a more relaxed and warm design language that responds to the lifestyle of a young family, creating a natural and comfortable living atmosphere that seamlessly blends tradition with contemporary living.

公寓所在建筑建于1907年，由建筑事务所 Delano and Aldrich 设计，属于典型的美国布杂艺术（Beaux-Arts）风格。设计团队充分尊重建筑原有的空间格局与历史特色，保留经典比例和细部元素，并围绕一家人的日常起居重新梳理空间布局，对这套六居室住宅进行了细致而克制的更新。

The apartment building, constructed in 1907 and designed by the architectural firm Delano and Aldrich, is a quintessential example of American Beaux-Arts style. The design team fully respected the building's original spatial layout and historical character, preserving its classic proportions and intricate details, while reorganizing the floor plan around the family's daily living needs. This thoughtful and restrained renovation transformed the six-bedroom residence with sensitivity and precision.

室内设计以低调、内敛的优雅为基调，没有刻意追求繁复的装饰效果，而是通过天然材质、精湛工艺与柔和的色彩关系，营造出宁静而富有层次的空间氛围。传统工艺与现代设计语言彼此交织，细腻的质感贯穿于各个空间，家的温暖与生活气息在不经意间自然流露。

For the homeowners, this is not merely a residence but a long-term dwelling that can accompany the family in their growth. The design does not deliberately alter the original character of the century-old building; instead, it integrates contemporary lifestyle while respecting the history, creating a perfect connection between the classic and the modern. This also enables this residence, which holds memories of the past, to gracefully respond to the long-term living period in the future.
