坐落于曼哈顿联合广场的玛格丽特·路易莎宅邸是一栋极具价值的镀金时代历史建筑，建筑外立面保留着罗马复兴风格的经典肌理，Child Studio团队以此为基底完成改造，打造出融合私人会员俱乐部与酒店双重功能的空间。设计师深挖建筑档案史料，结合女士英里历史街区积淀的多元风貌，以居家氛围为核心内核重塑室内空间，让复古居家美学在当代场景中重获新生。

Located in Manhattan's Union Square, the Margaret Louise Mansion is a highly valuable Gilded Age historic building whose façade retains the classic Romanesque Revival texture. Child Studio used this as a foundation to transform it into a space that seamlessly blends the functions of a private members' club and a hotel. By thoroughly researching architectural archives and drawing inspiration from the diverse character of the Ladies Mile historic district, the designers reimagined the interior around a domestic atmosphere, breathing new life into vintage residential aesthetics within a contemporary context.

材质与手工工艺是烘托空间氛围感的核心抓手，团队选用深红木护墙板铺陈墙面，搭配丝绒帷幔与复古灯具烘托柔和光影，还携手意大利威尼托地区匠人定制全套专属家具。大面积温润实木、触感软糯的布艺与充满岁月痕迹的古旧灯饰相互交织，层层递进的空间拥有丰富触觉层次，处处流露着如同私宅般的专属收藏质感，消解公共业态带来的疏离感。

Material and craftsmanship are key elements in creating a distinctive spatial ambiance. The team selected deep red wood paneling for the walls, complemented by velvet drapes and vintage lighting to enhance soft, warm illumination. They also collaborated with artisans from Italy's Veneto region to custom design an entire suite of bespoke furniture. Generous expanses of smooth solid wood, plush textiles, and antique fixtures bearing the marks of time interweave seamlessly, layering tactile richness throughout the space. Every detail exudes the curated, intimate quality of a private residence, effectively dissolving the sense of detachment often associated with public spaces.

项目涵盖客房套房、会员专属活动区以及顶层屋顶复式套房，整体设计精准拿捏镀金时代的华贵格调，同时克制繁复装饰，赋予空间低调雅致的平衡美感。室内没有堆砌夸张的复古装饰，而是借助材质肌理与手工细节烘托奢华底蕴，每一处布局都充分考量使用者的休憩需求。

The project includes guest suites, members-only event areas, and a duplex penthouse on the rooftop. The overall design masterfully captures the opulent spirit of the gilded age while avoiding excessive ornamentation, achieving a refined and understated balance in aesthetics. Rather than relying on exaggerated vintage decor, the interiors emphasize luxury through material textures and handcrafted details, with every layout thoughtfully designed to meet users' comfort and relaxation needs.

Located in the bustling heart of New York City, this renovated historical building has transformed into a serene contemporary sanctuary. Child Studio did not simply replicate the old architectural style; instead, it extracted the core elements of the life of the historical residence. Through meticulous soft furnishings and warm materials, this century-old building can not only retain the historical imprint of the city but also provide a relaxed and private resting space for guests and members, achieving a perfect compatibility between historical style and modern living needs.
