In his 'Perceptual Space' series, he explores the interactions of life forms at the cellular level and their shapeless configurations. He imagines these planets existing on yet-to-be-discovered exoplanets and thinks about how they might relate to life in the unknown depths of Earth's oceans.

He meditates on lines and proportions to achieve a balance in discord and harmony in asymmetry, which are the ultimate truths in nature. Gregory works with a variety of traditional materials, like stone, bronze, and wood. He combines these familiar materials with less common ones to create composite surfaces that are hard to categorize. This experimentation allows the artist to develop a unique aesthetic that no other artist today can match.
